I want to buy a saddle, but I ride horses different?
Hi guys, I love this saddle so much. I missed my saddle own for a long time now, because I hate the saddle I use for my lessons. I know that the stool has to fit too many horses, but is it such a generic size for the stools? I do not know what I'm talking, of course. Usually they are pretty good inbetween, maybe 15 + h, but I do not know. Where I go for the lessons I still use the same saddle, no matter what I'm riding with. What would your advice about getting a saddle?
First of all, this saddle you are so in love with a saddle junk. It can feel comfortable for you, but it will not saddle up and these generally have little support or comfort for the horse. I recommend if you own your own horse or not. That said, if you think the saddle is so great then the stool lesson to your barn must be really terrible and I do not blame you for wanting your own. Then you really should buy a saddle to fit a specific horse and do not use it on other horses, in fact, it might be wise for you to buy your own seat for use on horses lesson. In the fantasy world where the rest of the population who answered directly, the Lesson horses all have their own specific saddles mounted correctly for them. If this were true, then bring your own saddle and put it on all the different horses would be much worse for the horses. Unfortunately, we live in the real world where most of the lesson barns just throw the junk on their horses saddles lesson they fit or not. If you normally run tYes TB lean, choose a saddle tree with a medium and high pommel or knob cuts so as not to hit their withers. While most horses are QH broad types, choose a tree line or mid-range. You can always use extra padding if the saddle is too wide, but if the saddle is too narrow there is no way to make it work. I also found that the tie as best fit many horses well, while good fit saddles little or no horses. It is therefore worth investing in quality.
