what size of saddle??
HI!
I have wanted to get a horse for years, and I am now 18 so I can, but I need lots of info, I don't want to get a horse and not know a thing about it.
I know how to ride, I have been riding extended families horses for about 2 years, but I need to know about saddles, how can I get the right size? whats the best kind to get. Western not english. is there a website out there that shows you how to get the right fit? I know how to ride horses, but the saddle has always already been there, if i got a horse I would get the saddle/tack and I don't know anything about those. thanks!
oh, if I got a horse it would only be for trail riding.
The saddle will be the one that fits you and your horse, and the best way to find that saddle will be to work with a good fitter, or a shop that has a big inventory and an in-house fitter. While you can say that certain brands offer high quality or customized fitting options, you need to try a saddle on you horse - and really get a chance to ride in it - before you can decide if it's the right one. A reputable shop and fitter will make the process a lot shorter and easier.
