Which horse do you think is (or will be) the best Sprinter of all time?
Weekend Hussler, Takeover Target, Apache Cat or any other horse?
Weekend Hussler is more of a miler, altough an amasing horse winning so many races in one prep and equalling records set by Kingston Town who was one of the best horses in Australia. I don't think that he would be able to beat Takeover in a sprinting race.
I would say that Takeover Target would be the best, not only has he won so many races over so many years but he's been over seas and done it. And is now 9 years old.
Apache isn't that good sure he won like 5 Group ones but they were in queensland and did not have group one horses in it.
But there are heaps of other horses to consider. Like Gold Edition, Alinghi, Fastnet Rock etc And heaps coming through the grades like Amealia's Dream who thrashed the track, race and distance record in the Silver Slipper in 2008 over 1100m. She broke down but is back in work now so I hope she finds her old form.
