Is it ok to put a stable blanket on a horse that is in a pasture?
When we got the blanket we just got my first horse in December when we got it. It is waterproof
If the horse is alone, it isn't wet or muddy at all, and the fencing is safe, then I think it would be fine, as long as it stays on properly.
But if those aren't the conditions, that blanket will be DESTROYED within a week.
You also have to consider the possibility of it getting twisted around on your horse, and then getting stepped on, or even getting him caught up in fencing...
