I spilled wax on carpet, and I tried to remove with a warm iron over brown paper, but spots remain, any ideas?
I switched on a stove pie on my living room carpet spread a bit of hot wax. I tried the method of operation a hot iron on a lunch bag brown paper cornice spots and it helped a little, but he did not remove all the wax, and you can still see the stains.

Be very sure not to get too damp area or you can bring up a stain on the upholstery. If you tried use soap before this technique or soap every time you used to clean a carpet, be sure to use a diluted solution of vinegar and water to remove much soap in the carpet. If you do not remove all the soap, dirt will be attracted to the spot like a magnet, which makes it all worse. Good luck. Remember, if all else fails, call a professional carpet cleaner. They have special solvents to remove the wax.
