Pokemon Heart Gold Question?

I have a pokemon heart gold and i need to know where to get oran berries. They do not grow on trees no berry bushes grow in the version. I know that i can trade in a shard and i cant find a blue 1. Dont say the pokemon heart gold guide cause i dont have it. Thanks )

You can find Oran Berries in the Pokewalker by using the Dowsing Machine. You need 3 watts to use it, and 1 watt equals 20 steps. When using the Dowsing Machine, you will be given a set of grass, and you have to pick which one has the item. If you don't guess correctly, then the Pokewalker will give you a hint and if you pick a wrong patch again, then won't get any item. They are common in the Refreshing Forest after walking 300 steps.

You can also get Oran Berries at the lottery in the Goldenrod Department Store. Oran Berries will be offered as one of the three prizes you can get if you buy a ticket. You can buy as many tickets as you want, there are no limits. They might be offered only on certain days. I know Oran Berries are offered on Sundays.

You can also grow your own Oran Berries by using the Berry Pot in your Key Items compartment. Make sure to check it everyday to check the progress of your Oran Berries' growth.
