If a headstall is marked "Cob" will it work for an AppaloosaXDraft that is 16.1 HH?
I'm buying a halter for Riley's Great Big Little Surprise, and I like a weaver one, but it is marked cob. The fact that it is a color coordinated nylon with a leather breakaway strap attracted me to it, and it is the only one on the Rick's shelf. She is a seven year old Spotted mare, 16.1 HH with a medium sized head and roman nose. I like the track halters, where they can do bitted or non bitted(but can't ride in) as she is strong on the ground but pretty well carried and flexed from the poll in riding and on the lounge. However, these do not come in a reputable brand for her size! What do you think? It is a snap, not buckle to adjust though.
