Yet another Dr. Cook's Bitless Bridle Question?
Long story short, the horse I might be getting is ridden english, but with a bosal hackamore. So I love the Dr. Cook's bridle and wanted to use it. For some showjumping, pleasure, and maybe some endurance.
Here are my questions
1.) English leather or the Beta material? (my saddle will be havana brown leather)
2.) I can just keep different reins from my tack shop right? I like loop reins and I need them in havana brown
3.) What do you guys think of it's performance?? Confort? thanks!
Wel, the thing about the Beta is that all of my tack is Havana Brown (my horse will be dark bay) so would the brown look ok with the havana brown? Because the Brown in the Beta is not specified as havana brown??
1. I own leather, but have heard good things about the beta, so either is fine.
2. You can use your own reins.
3. The Dr. Cook performance is excellent. You can do lateral and longitudinal work, loose reins or contact work, and you have good control and cooperation from the horse. Both of my horses transitioned well into the Dr. Cook and performed collected work very well in it.
