Which do you prefer and why: English or Western?
I am taking lessons soon, but I don't know which to do because I like both. I like English for the jumping and dressage, but I like Western for the trail riding and barrel racing. Also, I don't really like cross country for English or reining for Western. So, can you guys tell me which one you like more and why? Also, please include what you do and all the activities/sports for them.
ENGLISH!!!! Its so much fun. You can do trail rides with english too. You could occasionally do some barrel racing just for fun too. And you don't have to do cross country for english. Even if you did, you're ten years away from competig. You can just do hunter jumper. Thats what I do an dI love it. Here is a video of me riding english. This was in january or something so I am jumping 2 ft. now.
