I am looking for a professional rider for my horse. Where can I go to find one?
I have a mare that I want shown in reining. I am located in NY and we have two reining associations. Would like to find a professional rider for her, someone who can show her to her full potential. Just not sure on where to begin looking for someone.
Contact the reining associations--they will most likely have a list of trainers/riders. Contact your breed club, again they may have a list of names for your area.. Ask at competitions for referrals.
Once you get a list of names, ask to observe them when they are training, ask them for references.
