Updated question about Slobber straps and What Amp means?

I found an example of a horse ad with the word amp in the description. When you go to the link its the fourth horse ad down.

After some struggle I managed to bring up the ad, and sure enough, there is the word "amp". But no matter how I read the headline, I couldn't be certain what they meant.
I think in this case it was a typing error. The wrote something like this - "winning sire and amp; dam" I think they meant to write "champ dam" not "amp; dam" I mean, what is with a semi colon in the middle of the word, not proper grammer! Is: it; or whatever;;; you think?! When you look at the details inside the horse ad the word amp does not come up again.
I also considered that maybe amp means appendix quarter horse (thoroughbred/AQHA) but I've never seen it abbreviated that way and it didn't make sense on that particular ad. Do you have another example?!
