how do you attach the spurs and the spur straps?
so.. i just a bought my first pair of spurs, and i don't know how to attach the strap to the spur. then put the spur on the boot. help please

I will use them to try to explain. I am at work otherwise I would go to the stables and take some pictures of me putting on my spurs

1. Put your boots on (lol,...easier to explain)
2. Put the spur on the back of your boot, with the spur point pointing down.
3. ok, with your foot flat on the ground put your spur strap under your boot, like your stepping on it with the buckle in your left hand and non buckle end in your right (this is for your left foot) the strap lies flat on the sole of your boot against the 'step' of the heel. Now take it off and thread it through so it mimics this position.
4. Thread the end through and up through the first (TOP) metal loop (left side first) then down through the second metal loop.
5. then allow enough strap for it to loop under your heel
6. then to the inside threading,UP through the bottom metal loop then DOWN through the top metal loop.
7. when you buckle it up the buckle should be on the outside
** as to where on your heel the actual spur should be sitting, your trainer can fix this for you, but look at pictures to give you an idea
