How to put a horn on a horse?
I've decided to dress up my horse for Halloween as a unicorn. My barn is throwing a mini-costume show so it should be fun! I'm going to make my horses hair wavy and I'm going to put sparkles in her mane and tail. I may even put sparkles on her hooves. I'm having trouble with the horn though. What should I make it out of so it doesn't harm anyone and how can I attach it to my horse without harming her or destroying my bridle?
I did this with my gelding last year.
I colored his mane and feet pink and made him a unicorn horn that attached to his halter/bridle.
I went to a craft store and got a Styrofoam cone, some decorative stuff and pipecleaners. I looped the end of a pipecleaner through the top edge of the base of the cone and then looped two more to both sides of the circle. I then wired the top pipecleaner over his poll and connected it to his bridle, and connected the side pipecleaners to either side of the bridle.
As long as the horse is calm about it and doesn't toss it's head, it should be alright. Here's a picture of the finished product.

Good luck!
