I'm bidding on a bridle on ebay. I needed a headstall for my copper snaffle.?
It comes with a thinner metal snaffle. What is the difference between this thinner snaffle and my thicker snaffle. Why would you go with thinner one? Thanks a million. I learn so much from you all.
A thinner snaffle tends to be harsher than a thicker one as it applies more pressure to one area. If your horse goes well in the thick snaffle, keep using it. A thick snaffle is a lot milder and that's why they're usually used for training.
