if theres any thing you think i should do please go ahead and tell me.

also if you dont mind giving me any tips on riding in the ring, please do.

thanks you sooooo much for taking the time to look and answer my questions. :)

I ride English, so I can't really advise you on the clothes/tack, but here's some other gear you should plan to take with you to your shows:
1. Grooming utensils
2. Hay net (filled with hay)
3. Water bucket
4. Bring your OWN water from his barn; some horses are finicky about drinking "strange" water. I use one of those collapsible 5-gallon plastic containers available at camping supply stores
5. Packet of lanolin- or aloe-enriched baby wipes (for cleaning his face when it gets grimy)
6. Soft towel for rubbing him down just before your classes; also to wipe the dust off your boots
7. Manure fork, broom, and muck bucket. Some horses get extremely messy while being hauled.
8. Horse treats

Most of this equipment you probably already have; it's just nice to remember to take it with you.

Hope it helps!
