who do I file a complaint against a YAHOO FREECYCLE Group in Texas.?
This is getting out of line as to the police are being called and Ex Moderators is getting involved that are not being properly informed of the correct information. The EX moderator also sent me the farewell email as she was the moderator, in fact she was acting as one to send it to me.
PLEASE contact me as to what I need to do about this group and the EX moderator.

For starters, yes file complaints with Yahoo Groups and give as much detail as you can. Make sure they know the PD's involved in whatever's going on and get it resolved.
THEN - info@freecycle.org and tell them to get off their dead asses and clean up one more of their groups that's gone in the toilet. It may also be texasgoa@freecycle.org or something similar with a Gmail account, try them all until the details don't get bounced back and rattle cages until you see some results.
From past experiences down there, I can bet money on one of two people who are this 'Ex' and have no business being anywhere near the group just for starters. Freecycle(TM)($$)'s GOA's are the ones in charge of the State and are supposed to be handling these problems. Usually there's aout 10-15 per State per year as they find out how really useless they are and they quit and walk out on FC. Turnover's unreal because things escalate this bad and FC refuses to be responsible for those they have under them!
Also get the local Media involved, people should know about these things and if no one tells them or raises enough stink, nothing gets handled. Anything further on who is responsible for the local group's actions are at: www.freecycle.org
This is twofold - it's Yahoo's responsibility slightly because they operate the group software BUT as they'll tell you and it's in their Terms of Service - the Owner/Moderators are 100% responsible for the group's content and what happens since. Because they're an approved and licensed Freecycle(TM)($$) Recycling Group, FC is also responsible if they don't get involved and resolve it immediately.
