I have a question about western saddle pads?
I have one of the older style. It is fairly thick I believe cotton with fake fleece on the underside. I have been looking at the newer ones. They look neoprene with gel inside. What do you think of these and what do you think of mine it is fairly new? Thanks.
I haven't heard good things about neoprene pads in general. If you are looking for something with the gel try an impact get. I love mine, it completely fixed my horse's dry patches, and now I use it on my 2 year old. It is definitely worth the money. Otherwise there is nothing wrong with yours, I would have never bought anything special if my old horses back wasn't so hard to fit!
